Children's Book Auction: Buyer
  Registering
    You can browse the auctions at any time without registering or logging in, but to bid on an auction, you must be registered and logged in. 

Registering is fast, easy and free.

To register, simply click on the link above or use the  Login/Register link above the top menu.  Choose a user name which you can easily remember, and fill in the other required fields. There is a limit of 20 Alpha/Numeric characters plus the underline ( _ ), period ( . ), and  dash ( - ).  No blank spaces, other punctuation or symbols can be used.  

Your password will automatically be generated and emailed to you.

  • Note: You can change your password  by choosing the My Account option and then clicking the Change Your Password link.
  • If you loose or forget your password, you can get another sent to your registered email address by clicking My Account>Retrieve Lost Password.
  • You can change your user information at any time by clicking the My Account link and choosing the Edit My Registration link.   
     
  Bidding
  1. Once you have an active account, you are ready to bid.  Simply navigate to the auction you want to bid on via the category listings or using the search features,  and then decide on the amount of your bid. 
 
  2. Read over all sale, payment and shipping terms and conditions before you place your bid.  Some items may be guaranteed and some others may not be returnable, but please note that by bidding, you are legally bound to purchasing the item if you are the winning bidder.  If you have any questions, contact the Seller (click on their UserName) BEFORE you bid.
 
  3. Place your bid.
 
  Completing the Transaction
    Once an auction closes an email will be sent to the winning bidder containing contact information for the seller.  If you are the winning bidder you should immediately contact the seller to arrange for payment and delivery of the item. 
 
  Leaving Feedback
    You should always leave feedback on the seller after completing a transaction.  This lets other users know what to expect from the seller, whether that be good or bad.  You can reach the feedback form by clicking on the Leave Feedback on Seller link on the item detail page or by using the feedback button for the appropriate listing in your My Auctions>Winning Bids page.  Please restrain from using foul or obscene language, as other users may be offended.  Inappropriate feedback will be deleted and the user who left it may be warned or suspended.
 
  Other important buyer information
  1. We have a strict Privacy Policy:
  • No spam (your email address is always hidden)
  • No pop-up ads
  • No unwanted emails (official site notices only, all other email lists are opt-in)
  • All personal information is hidden (never sold or distributed in any way)
  2. Sellers must agree to a Code of Ethics
