Homebase Bulk Upload Instructions

  1. ONLY children's books and other qualifying children's books related items can be listed (You must be able to sort your inventory to exclude all non-children's book related items).
  2. Upload records to our bulk upload "staging area" and then edit them to upload images or edit field values. 
    (Note: most Homebase field values except category are mapped directly into ChildrensBookAuction's parallel values)
  3. Expedite the process by sorting their Homebase records into "catalogs" that dovetail into our category system.

You can also edit or upload images to your listing after you post them to the live auctions by using the Edit option in your My Auctions page.


  1. Select the records you want to upload and create a "Homebase Catalog" for them.
  2. Use the Homebase Export feature: File> Import/Export> Export>                                  (Note: NOT Export to ABE).
  3. Select the Catalog of records you want to upload
  4. Export your records to a txt file on your computer
  5. From the CBM Bulk Upload page, choose the Homebase option from the Choose File Format drop-down box.
  6. Use the Browse button to find the file on your computer, select it and then click the Import button..
  7. From the global information page, set your global field choices and enter your seller information.
    Note: All of the information entered on the this page will be assigned to EVERY record that is successfully imported in this batch.
  8. Review the charges for the successfully processed records.
  9. Accept the charges to move the uploaded records to your My Auctions Bulk Upload Staging area.
  10. Review and Edit your records (Optional, but recommended).
  11. Post your records to the site individually or in bulk.
