Two Ways to use Images in your ChildrensBookAuction listings
1.
Use our server to store your images (free)
You can upload up to six images per auction listing directly to
our server. Note: You must upload at least one image using
this method to use the optional Gallery feature at
ChildrensBookAuction.
1.
Take a scan or digital picture of your item and save it as a JPG, PNG
or GIF file on your computer or a disk.
2.
After you 'Add your Auction' information, you will arrive at the
Upload Image page.
3.
Click the 'Browse' button to find the image file where you stored
it on your computer. Navigate to the directory where your
image file is located using the 'Look in' window in the pop-up
'Choose File' dialog box. Click on the image file name to
highlight it and the image file name will appear in the 'File
Name' box at the bottom of the 'Choose File' pop-up dialog box .
Click the 'Open' button next to the File Name to close the
'Choose File' pop-up box and the file name of your image will now
appear in the 'Choose Your Image File' dialog box.
4.
Type in an Image Description that will appear under the Image.
5.
Click 'Upload'. Your file will now upload to the Children's
Book Market's server. This usually takes a few
seconds, depending on the file size and your internet access speed
(image
file sizes must be less than 50k
or they will be reduced)- Hint:
to reduce your image file sizes, run them through
NetMechanic's free Gif.bot
utility).
6.
When the screen appears, you will see your image and a
thumbnail image next to it. If this is the correct image,
click 'Continue' to return to the Upload Image page and repeat the
process for any other images you want to include (maximum of 6
allowed per auction) or if this is not the correct image, click on
the 'Cancel' button to return to the 'Upload Image' page and
reselect the correct image.
7.
If you don't want to upload additional images, click on the
'Continue' button to go to the review page. Note:If
you selected the Add Your Auction
to the Gallery option, your gallery image will be the first
image you uploaded if you are uploading multiple images.
8.
Pictures will be deleted from the ChildrensBookAuction server 30
days from the end of your auction, however the rest of your
auction listing will be viewable for 60 days from the end of your
auction.
2.
Store images using your
own storage space on the Internet
(Note: You cannot
use the Gallery with this option)

your computer or a disk.
