The GiftGallery is a new venue where children and their teachers can redeem gift certificates to choose free books (shipping included).   Each Gift Certificate is good for any book on the Gift Gallery (one Gift Certificate = one free book). Ownership promotes the love of reading, and choosing a book gives it special meaning, especially if it is the child's first book of their very own.

The books are arranged by category and they can be searched by title, author, or reading level.  Redeeming the Gift Certificate is a simple process with no site registration required.  

How to get Gift Certificates: If you are a teacher or other literacy advocate and you want to give your students a free book of their choice, place an ad on the DonorMart.  Then advertise your DonorMart ad to your local community (email, flyer, word-of-mouth, etc.).   Gift Certificates are a simple, easy way to get children interested in reading.  Donors can also have a custom 'Donated by' book plate or book mark placed in each book.
