Donation Request Ad
Donation Requests are for legitimate requests from qualified recipients only. 

To place your Donation Request Ad, close this page and use the List an Ad link in the Mart Menu Bar at the top of any ChildrensBookMart.com Literacy Mart page

Donation Request Ads are Free but must meet the following requirements:

  • Requests must be for a clearly defined literacy project, event, or situation.
    • Request Books or Gift Certificates for achievement awards or prizes
    • Request general stock to fill or replenish library shelves
    • Request specific titles for classroom use or to replace lost books

    • Request books or Gift Certificates to be given out to children with special needs

    • Request textbooks for classroom or home school use

  • The individual making the request must provide verifiable personal identification for themselves and contact information for their school or literacy organization, if any.
  • Requests must contain information about the project and/or the recipients
    (description/photographs of the classroom/library/situation and/or biographical information/photographs describing the students)
  • Requesters must be prepared to provide any additional information required by potential donors.
  • Requester must prepare and any reports and/or receipts if required by the Donor in advance (photographs and thank you notes from the children are encouraged).

Notice: Children's Book Market is only a venue, and is not involved directly in Donor/Recipient negotiations or exchanges except when Children's Book Market Gift Certificates are used.  Children's Book Market cannot be responsible for any claim or unsuccessful outcome resulting from a Donor/Recipient transaction.  Donors and Recipients are advised to verify their Donor transaction partners and obtain written agreements for potential transactions involving substantial donations.
