  • No cash or other payment is necessary unless the total with shipping is greater than the Gift Certificate amount.

Online Gift Certificates are easy to purchase and safe to use:

  • Purchaser must provide the username of an existing account where the Online Gift Certificate credit is to be deposited.

  • A confirmation email with a unique Gift Certificate tracking number is sent to the purchaser.

  • Purchaser (or the admin, if preferred) contacts the recipient to announce the Online Gift Certificate is active.

  • Recipient spends the Online Gift Certificate by giving the tracking number to the seller.

  • The tracking number must match the item buyer's username when a seller confirms its validity before shipping the item.

Sellers follow three simple steps to accept Online Gift Certificates:. 

  • Contact the admin with the purchased item number and the Online Gift Certificate tracking number provided by the buyer.

  • Admin confirms the validity of the Online Gift Certificate and transfers the credit from the buyer's account to the seller's account, then notifies seller.

  • Seller ships the item to the buyer.

Seller reimbursement:

  • Account credit is immediately available.   Choice of Check or PayPal payment goes out the next business day upon payment request or at the end of each month (there is a minimum payment amount of $3.00).

  • Any existing seller fees will be deducted before payment is sent.

  • Seller can use their account credit to purchase any merchandise on ChildrensBookAuction.

  • Seller can view his account online at anytime.
