Gift Certificates are $10.00 each. To purchase Gift Certificates, click

• Good for one free book.

• Children choose from any of the books listed on the DonorMart's Gift Gallery.

• No payment is necessary, all shipping and handling charges are prepaid.

• Ownership promotes reading.  Use Gift Certificates for:

  • gifts

  • contest prizes

  • achievement awards

  • participation rewards

  • random acts of kindness to promote literacy

Gift Certificate Rules

• Gift Certificate is good for any Gift Ad item listed on the DonorMart's Gift Gallery.

• Members can view their accounts at any time.

• Sellers receive $8.00 account credit for each successfully completed Gift Ad, but they must pay the USPS Media Mail shipping to ship it to the Gift Certificate holder.

• Sellers can redeem their account credit from gift certificate payments for:

  • Paying their account fees

  • Purchasing Gift Certificates

  • Cash reimbursement (upon request only - payments sent the first day of the each month)

    • PayPal

    • Check ($2.00 processing/mailing fee for each check issued)

• Each gift certificate is uniquely numbered and individually tracked through the ChildrensBookMarket membership system to assure its validity. 
• Each gift certificate comes with instructions on how to use it to purchase items at the GiftGallery.
• Gift Certificates are good for one year from purchase date unless a specific expiration date is specified.
• Lost or stolen* gift certificates can be voided and new certificates issued upon request.

*Gift Certificate purchasers have the option of approving each request to redeem one of their Gift Certificates, eliminating any chance of fraudulent redemption by undesignated users.

Step-by-step Gift Certificate Procedure

Three people are involved in each Gift Certificate transaction:

• The Gift Certificate Purchaser

• The Recipient (and/or their teacher/supervisor) of the Gift Certificate

• The Seller[Donor] of the chosen GiftGallery book

1. Purchaser registers to create an account for tracking Gift certificates.

2. Purchaser buys gift certificate(s)

   • Individual $10.00 Gift Certificate credits with unique tracking numbers are posted to the Purchasers account.

   • Purchaser is notified of tracking numbers.

3. Purchaser prints (optional) and distributes Gift Certificates (or Gift Certificate tracking numbers) to Recipients.

4. Recipient chooses any book on the GiftGallery and submits simple form with name, shipping address, and tracking number.

5. Seller is notified to ship book and Purchaser's account is updated with details.

6. Recipient or Purchaser confirms gift has been received.

7. Seller's account is credited $8.00 ($2.00 goes to ChildrensBookMarket's DonorMart*)

*$2.00 DonorMart fees are used to honor DonorMart book/gift certificate requests, shipping charges, & overhead.
